As a designer I believe in solving problems with the most intuitive design possible. I always tell myself, if my mum could figure out the UX, then its a good design (Sorry mum).

Hi again!

Design has always been something I’m very passionate about. Even back in primary school, if we were creating reports in ICT, or drawing up maps in Geography I spent so much time trying to perfect how the project looked. This bled into my uni life, where I studied Interactive Digital Media. Modules including Website Development, Database Design, Animation Design, Video Development,  Photography and Audio Design all allowed me to build a depth of knowledge across many different disciplines. However, it was my “Introduction to User Experience”module that changed it all for me. From that moment on I knew I wanted to get into UX.

After leaving University, I started my career as a Web Developer in a marketing agency working my way up to Head of Web Development and Graphic design. However I left here to pursue my true calling: UX! I  joined Blinx Solutions as a UX/UI Designer and promoted to Head of UX/UI. In this role I worked on creating great products that would really help change peoples lives. Working with the likes of the NHS, Speedy Freight by Eddie Stobart and Alder Hey Hospital, I’ve seen the impact good UX can have on the lives of a user.

Leaving Blinx was a tough decision to make, but one I felt I couldn’t pass up as I had a great opportunity to join Manchester Airports Group where I’m moulding the UX for millions of users every year traveling through the UKs largest airport group.
